What does it mean to share our lives on earth with each other? People experience reality in different ways. Marjan Slob will discuss this with architect Lyongo Juliana and cultural philosopher Lieven De Cauter during the Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam (AFFR).
This AFFR program is about ‘Contested Space’, using videos and fragments from the festival selection. The program is moderated by Indira van ’t Klooster.
About the filmfestival
The AFFR will take place in Rotterdam for the fifteenth time. From October 4 to 8, 2023, it is the place to be for everyone interested in documentaries, feature films and shorts about cities and architecture.
The AFFR investigates the relationship between film, city and architecture. They do this by programming and showing films and by organizing introductions and debates. The films portray cities, buildings and their designers. These show that architecture cannot be understood without its environment or explore the role the city plays in our daily lives.
