Port City – Aruba
Many vacationers visit the harbor of Oranjestad. We made an urban design to transform the southwest part of the capital. The market consultation started in 2022, the full development is expected to take 10-15 years. Our vision for Port City includes a vibrant mix of residences, offices, retail and a large public park – in total 180,000 square meters. It aims to create a sustainable area with high energy efficiency standards. Visit the area to witness the exciting changes as they unfold.

Mongui Maduro Library – Curacao
For a blend of history and modern architecture, head to the Mongui Maduro Library at the old plantation house Rooi Catootje. This striking building harmonizes beautifully with its surroundings, incorporating the local flora into its design. The library is open to visitors and offers a unique insight into Curacao’s rich heritage.

Crown Terrace – Bonaire
Experience modern architecture in Bonaire with a visit to Crown Terrace in Sabadeco. Walk around this residential area filled with different types of contemporary villas. Here, you can also admire Villa Serendipity, a modern villa designed to follow the natural contours and slopes of the landscape. This area showcases the island’s innovative residential architecture.

Mangrove City Park – Curacao
Escape the hustle and bustle of Willemstad by visiting the serene Mangrove Park. The Mangrove Park was Until the 1950s this area was an open water. Presumably, a good breeding ground for the growth of Mangroves was created by all the silt that flowed into the area from Otrobanda. After the ’50s, a mangrove “forest” was created in the Rifwater between the Benny Leito swimming pool and the Holiday Beach hotel. It was transformed into a citypark between 2015-2021. Our design focuses on biodiversity. Book a guided walk with a park ranger or reserve a canoe to explore this unique nature reserve.

Hotel ‘t Klooster – Curacao
In the heart of Willemstad, you’ll find the charming yellow hotel ‘t Klooster. This historic building, originally a monastery for the ‘Fraters van Zwijssen’, was transformed into a modern hotel in 2007 under the guidance of Lyongo Juliana. Today, you can relax with a drink on the patio or enjoy an overnight stay in this beautifully restored 1200 m² hotel, which has also served as a printing company and bookstore in its varied past.
